Dell, HP bidding war for 3Par heats up
The competition between Dell Inc., Hewlett-Packard in a fight with 3Par Inc.. increasingly fierce. A source clean, reportedly, Dell raised the price bid for the company’s data storage.
Previously, HP had offered 3Par a price of U.S. $ 1.6 billion or U.S. $ 24 per share. This price is higher than the price of Dell’s proposed U.S. $ 1.15 billion.
Sources said, Dell apparently did not want to budge in the seizure of the company. Dell intends to submit a new bid price. However, how much was still unknown.
